Book Launch - The Secret's in the Scones

Dear Reader Friends,

I had so much fun with you all at my Book Launch/Book Signing event for The Secret's in the Scones! I'm so glad you were able to come out and hear about my writing journey. It was great to meet each of you and talk to you all.

As you all have been finishing up with the book, I've so enjoyed hearing your positive thoughts on the story. I've especially loved hearing about your thoughts on the town and the characters. Everyone seems to love the town of Iris Cove as much as I do. It has encouraged me so much that I've started on the sequel sooner than I had planned.

The next book will take place in Iris Cove with a new mystery for Ruby to solve. Her feisty feline Ashton and the dove will be there to help her uncover clues along the way. Chief Starr will continue to remind her to stay out of the investigation. By the way, how is Ashton getting out of the apartment each day? And why is he so good at solving clues? But what about the dove, the ladybugs, and butterflies? Have you figured out what they mean? After all, I'm an English teacher at heart, so there's going to be symbolism in any story I write.:) And then there's Ruby's love life. Who will she choose, Griffin or Reese? Will she move into the bakery and take over full time as her Aunt Claire has suggested she do? But what about the theater? Just when she's had a breakthrough and moved into her first understudy part. What do you think she should do?

It would be great if you would write a review on Amazon and tell what you liked about the book. Some of you have already done so, and I really appreciate it! It would only take 10-15 minutes of your time to write a few lines about the characters or the town and just say what you loved about the story. For example, did you love the characters? What did you think about Ashton the cat and his ability to get out of the apartment to solve clues? Did you enjoy the dove and the ladybugs and butterflies? Did you enjoy the whimsicalness of the town of Iris Cove? Were you surprised when you found out who did it?
